A wall shelf with four scalloped ledges that keep picture books face-out, so the covers do the selling at story time. It’s built from four 8 ft select boards with crosscuts only, glued and brad-nailed butt joints, and a separate full-size template for the scallops. The plan includes the cut list and a true-scale cut diagram on one page, a shopping list with board-by-board yields, and two ways to mount it: into a stud anywhere along the rails, or with drywall anchors. Finish it however you like.
